Helpful Links Below you will find some links which I've found helpful in my literary journey. If you have any suggestions for other links, please let me know! Bookateer Publishing ~ If you have written a book and don't know how to take it from your mind into a physical or virtual book, Bookateer Publishing is the company you will definitely want to contact! From cover to galley to website design, they are more than willing to assist authors through those scary steps from taking an idea and turning it into a physical book.
NaNoWriMo (November IS National Novel Writing Month!) ~ Do you think you have what it takes to write 50,000 words in 30 days? Thousands of writers think they can (and many of them DO)! It's not a race and you don't win any physical prizes, but after spending thirty days doing nothing but sleeping, working and writing (and hopefully by the last day of the month, saying "I did it!"), the satisfaction of setting a goal for yourself and doing your best to get there can be wonderfully gratifying!
Smashwords ~ This is a fabulous site where oodles of authors find they can upload their manuscript and the site, in turn, will convert it into numerous ebook formats (like Kobo, Sony, Diesel, etc) where they can be purchased from readers everywhere. This site is highly recommended, especially with the recent trend which is beginning to lean heavily toward virtual books. |
